Early Life in Haiti
Martelli Adeka grew up in Saint Louis Du Nord, Haiti, surrounded by the entrepreneurial spirit of his great-grandmother. From a young age, he showed a natural talent for business, selling produce and even running a small movie theater by age 13.
Starting Over in the U.S.
At 17, Martelli moved to the United States and faced the challenges of adapting to a new culture and language. He worked hard to finish school and began building a career in insurance while continuing his education.
Personal Loss, Professional Purpose
In 2016, Martelli’s father passed away without life insurance, leaving the family in financial hardship. That experience deeply influenced Martelli’s mission to help others plan and protect their financial futures.
Founding Kaizen
In 2021, Martelli and his wife Rachel launched Kaizen Family Financial Consultants to help families gain financial security. With nearly a decade of experience, they combined knowledge with personal understanding to guide others with care.
Facing Challenges Together
Starting Kaizen wasn’t easy. Financial setbacks nearly cost them their home, but their determination never wavered. Martelli viewed each challenge as a reminder of his early business efforts back in Haiti—fueled by purpose, not fear.
Looking Ahead
Kaizen now helps families and small business owners build lasting legacies. Martelli’s journey—from Haiti to entrepreneurship—drives the firm’s mission: empowering others with compassion, education, and real-life experience to achieve lasting financial stability.
